Here's one of my Items on my wish list:: How to Become a Dinosaur Hunter
Just as the police hunt for clues at the scene of a crime to solve a mystery, so paleontologists hunt for clues in rocks millions of years old to reveal secrets about the dinosaurs and how they lived.
Fossilized teeth, footprints, droppings, and the bones all lead to surprising discoveries. And the most exciting finds are complete skeletons.Getting started as a Dinosaur Hunter:
With "Dinosaur Expedition Kit" you excavate a realistic dinosaur skeleton which arrives fully encased in rock.
You unearth the complete skeleton of a T-Rex (tyrannosaurus rex) using tools and techniques similar to those of a real paleontologist back in your own lab at home. You'll learn how to analyze every nook and cranny in the bones for clues whether this T-Rex dinosaur led a violent life or suffered from disease.
May be you even find traces of leaves and pollen in the rock which may reveal what kind of environment the dinosaur lived in?
Tools of the Trade For Your Lab
The "Dinosaur Expedition Kit" also includes special tools paleontologists use to dig for fossils. Mallets and chisels are used to smash through rocks. Brushes are useful to remove dust. The smallest tools – including picks and sponges – are used to scratch or brush away the tiniest flecks of rocks and dust. For the picture of the kit and where to order click on the link below! You can bet it will be on my wishlist!!
